Formula
a^n = a x a x ... (n times) ; sqrt(a^2) = a
Rule
A power is repeated multiplication. A square root undoes a square.
Example
2^5 = 32 ; sqrt(49) = 7
Tip
Remember the squares up to 15 to speed up mental math.
