Modals (can, could, may, must, should) are followed by the base verb.

When to use it: Talking about possibility, ability, permission and obligation.

Notice the target language in these examples:

Avoid these frequent errors:

• Adding to after a modal (I must to go).
• Adding -s in the third person (He cans).
